**NEW SALE- UNIQUE OPPORTUNTIY!**

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 for a unique opportunity supporting the Sheppard Pratt Health System This newly awarded service line within an existing contract will oversee foodservice operations across 12 community day treatment centers. Sheppard Pratt is the nation’s largest private, nonprofit provider of mental health, substance use, special education, developmental disability, and social services, making this an impactful opportunity to contribute to community wellness through culinary leadership.

This role offers a distinctive environment, requiring strict adherence to CACFP (USDA) guidelines to ensure nutritious, compliant meal service for program participants. Daily travel to sites is required

*Experience with USDA Food and Nutrition Service Guidelines is a plus!*

  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;
  • Have high expectations for customer service and quality of food;
  • Train, develop and lead front-line employees;
  • Have a passion for food and innovation
  • Manage food, labor and cost controls to meet targets
  • Emphasis on food presentation, quality, execution, menu design & implementation;

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience providing strong leadership, including supervision, direction and training, to a diverse team of employees;
  • Self starter- who is motivated by independent work
  • High level of computer literacy and skill-set;
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Strong understanding of financials and strong analytical thinking skills
  • Experience with CACFP Program preferred
  • Current Servsafe Certification

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
