
1) JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to perform payment processing and basic data analysis for KPJ Group of hospital based on the respective portfolio given by the Head of Services.
2) JOB DESCRIPTION
To perform checking on the documents received for payment purposes from the hospital according to the Payment Policy and Standard Operating Procedure.
Revert to the respective hospital if there are incomplete documents.
To perform payment process within the timeline given, and according to the Payment Policy and related Standard Operating Procedure.
To send a copy of complete signed payment voucher to the respective
hospital for their filing and safekeeping.
To retrieve any documents relates to payments upon request by the superior, management or internal/external auditors.
To perform un-invoice GRN reconciliation on monthly basis and revert to Finance at Hospital for their justification and further action.
To run AP ageing on monthly basis and to check on the long overdue invoices for the next course of action.
To perform other related duties that is assigned by Head of Services or relevant management team.
Takes personal responsibility for own personal development and keeps up to date with professional change and growth.
Participates in the development and maintenance of the accounting process as well as accounting documentation.
Understand and comply with the policies and procedures to ensure it reflects current standards of operation services and practice, relevant regulations, requirement of statutory authorities, and the purpose of the services.
Understand and comply with all policies and procedures of the quality and safety systems.
Participate in the care, custody and administration of assets and equipment in accordance with the related policies and procedures.
Increase efficiency in terms of vendor and resident/sessional consultant management (fulfil payment obligation within the credit term/RCA).
Full compliance towards the statutory payment obligation and financial institution.
Increase efficiency for KPJ Group Finance functionality.
Standardization of financial reporting format and accounting treatment approach for month/year end closing.
3) JOB REQUIREMENT
STPM/Diploma in Accounting or Finance or Business Management.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in related field.
Able to communicate fluently and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Committed, honest and responsible worker.
Willingness to work on scheduled hours.
Able to identify nature of payment transaction together with its related type of documentation e.g.. invoices, debit and credit note, purchase order etc.
Demonstrates high self-drive and self-reliance.
Flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities and able to deliver high quality, accurate work.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
