Job Description

The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Executive Casino Host is also responsible for identification, development and maintenance of all VIP players as well as for providing a favorable gaming experience for those players.

  • Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and team members and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
  • Evaluate customer’s play for comping needs.
  • Communicates with VIP players through telemarketing, letter writing and on-floor interaction about available services, promotional opportunities and special events.
  • Assist Marketing Department with special events, tournaments, promotions, etc.
  • Communicates between guests and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Completes all assigned duties, paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Review activities and promotional status with Manager of Marketing Operations.
  • Provides feedback to Manager of Marketing Operations about status and concerns of VIP players.
  • Completes all company required training within designated time frames.
  • Must possess excellent phone etiquette skills and have the ability to make over 100+ cold calls per week.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to review and comprehend player data and other necessary documentation and observe play of guests.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies and marketing plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team members.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an extremely interruptive environment.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results and also have the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work an irregular work schedule due to broad variety of task and deadline requirements.
  • Ability to move effectively and efficiently around the entire casino so as to be able to observe play and meet with casino players.
  • Will require the following: walking 55%; standing 25%; sitting 10%; lifting 10% (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with noise levels.
  • Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Colorado Gaming License.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, public relations and customer service skills.
  • Must possess average computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to learn multiple casino tracking programs, inclusive of but not limited to: CMS, AS-400 and LMS.
  • Must possess prior casino experience and have a good overall working knowledge of casino and marketing operations.
  • Must be able to learn all essential job functions and computer systems within 90 days of hire.
