
What you’ll be doing:
Sample Management
• Manage samples requested for approval are received in time, to keep the critical path, is kept promptly and no delays in order production.
• Manage processes such as courier receipt, signing and opening all samples, tidying away of all samples, removal of boxes to storage at the end of the season, to ensure safe and efficient working practices so that the buyer can deal with all samples promptly.
• Liaise with brands and licensees on product approvals, to ensure no styles, go into production that have not been fully approved.
• Liaise with the buying team and QC team, to ensure all confirmation samples, receive comments within 48 hours to keep to the critical path and minimize production delays.
Supplier Management
• Confirm & verify timely receipt of all proforma invoices from suppliers against the buy plan, to highlight any discrepancies in cost or shipment dates.
• Follow up on agreed shipment dates, making sure of the timely dispatch of goods from the supplier, and to track receipts internally, to ensure all stock arrives on time to deliver the stock and sales plan.
• Create new suppliers in the system on the head of buying’s instruction and process through to completion, additionally assist new suppliers with onboarding of Shoemart requirements to ensure compliance.
• Update and maintain shipment tracker to provide visibility of goods and highlight any issues or delays to the buyer, which could affect sales
Order Management
• Match invoices with buyer’s orders and ensure any discrepancies against the order and proforma are duly addressed, to ensure queries are escalated to all stakeholders.
• Prioritize the handover of orders to the respective department and monitor the status of order production and assist in identifying priorities to ensure the contracts are available to the suppliers to meet the shipment dates.

Preferably a graduate from fashion, design or retail management school of repute
Basic MS office, Excel skills/ MIS and PPT
Ability to adapt and change with a dynamic business environment.
