About the Role

We are looking for an Executive Business Partner to join our Operations team in Mexico City! This is an in-office role, and remote work is not available. This role sits at the intersection of executive support, cross-functional coordination, and operational analysis. You will be the second set of eyes, ears, and hands for the VP of Operations: sitting in meetings he cannot attend, pulling the answer out of a dashboard before he has to ask twice, keeping commitments from disappearing into Slack, and telling him what is actually happening on the floor rather than what the weekly report says is happening.

This is not a calendar-and-travel job. Scheduling is part of it, but the core of the role is information and coordination. We are also hiring this as a development seat. The person who does it well for 18 to 24 months should be a strong candidate for a manager or program lead role in Operations. Say so in your application if that is what you are after.

You will join a team of talented individuals that are building a startup to improve the way people live and will be able to make all kinds of things happen without limits. Operations runs multiple high-stakes workstreams simultaneously across two countries, and you will work across all of them, with leaders in both Mexico City and the United States.

What You'll Do

• Track open commitments across multiple departments and keep them moving to completion
• Prepare and distribute agendas and pre-reads for recurring reviews so meetings start at the decision, not the recap
• Capture, track, and distribute action items, following up with owners to ensure nothing slips
• Take a question, go to the dashboards, and come back with a short list of findings and a recommendation
• Build and maintain simple recurring reports so the team stops requesting the same numbers manually
• Use AI tools actively to drive efficiency across analysis, communications, research, and preparation. We expect a fluent AI user who continuously finds ways to do more with less time. This is a real requirement, not a bonus
• Identify process gaps, recurring issues, and areas where the team needs better visibility
• Spend real time with the CDMX teams: sit in on team meetings, walk the floor, listen, and help execute what moves work forward
• Surface what is not making it up the chain, including the things people are reluctant to escalate, and flag emerging problems early with enough context to act on
• Manage high-priority scheduling and competing demands with clear communication and rigorous criteria for meeting requests
• Organize site visits, offsites, and team events, and maintain centralized documentation, trackers, and shared files so the team always has current status and versions
• Travel regularly to the United States to support cross-border operations and leadership alignment

• Commitments: How do we track every open commitment across Operations so nothing dies in a Slack thread?
• Analysis: Why did call volume spike in six markets last week, and what do we do about it?
• Reporting: How do we replace manual number-pulling with recurring reports leadership actually trusts?
• Field Operations: What are the teams running into every day that needs to be resolved?
• Leverage: Which recurring tasks in this role can be automated with AI so the seat scales past one person?

What You Need:

• Availability to work on-site in Mexico City. This is not a remote role, and regular travel to the United States is required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken. You will move between a US executive team and a Mexico City floor team every day
• 2+ years in operations coordination, program support, or business analysis, ideally supporting a senior leader in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational skills. You can manage multiple workstreams without dropping anything
• Comfortable in spreadsheets and BI tools. You do not need SQL on day one, but you need to be able to read a dashboard, spot what is off, and explain it
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in real work. Be prepared to walk us through something you actually built or solved with them
• Super written and verbal communication. Short, clear, no padding
• Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities
• A bias toward action. You chase the answer instead of forwarding the question, and you will tell an executive he is wrong, with evidence and without drama
• No task is too small or too big. You will book travel and you will sit in executive meetings, and you approach both with the same level of care
• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information. You will see compensation, performance, and org planning material
• Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with Sigma, Notion, Asana, or Slack is a plus
• Experience in real estate, hospitality, property management, or multi-site field operations preferred; basic SQL preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $18,300MXN gross per month
• Christmas Bonus: 30 days

• Vacation: 12 days per year (available after 90 days of employment)
