EXECUTIVE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (Location - Welisara)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, products, and markets to drive revenue growth.
- Acquiring new customers and expanding business within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Generate leads, conduct customer visits, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to order fulfillment and after-sales support.
- Monitor sales performance, profitability, and achievement of business targets.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, customer database, and sales forecasts.
- Support product launches, marketing initiatives, and represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management in line with business requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Sales or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in logistics, container solutions, packaging products, or industrial products will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
- Passed GCE O/L with at least 6 passes, including Mathematics and English, and a minimum of 3 passes at GCE A/L.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of CRM systems and market analysis will be an advantage.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and willing to travel for customer visits and business meetings.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with cross-functional teams
