
EXECUTIVE – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conduct investment analysis for projects, charters, and M&A by evaluating financial performance, cash flows, and key metrics, while supporting due diligence through research on sector trends and competitors.
Support business development by managing tender processes, identifying new market opportunities and leads, and developing impactful presentations and proposals to drive client acquisition.
Monitor and report on performance metrics and brand visibility while supporting operations through budget tracking, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks.
Execute branding strategies and campaigns while ensuring consistent brand application across all channels in line with approved guidelines.
Manage marketing initiatives and stakeholder engagement by evaluating events, conferences, memberships, accreditations, and awards, while planning schedules and budgets to enhance the organization’s visibility and credibility.
Create and manage multimedia content by producing videos, designing marketing materials, and developing corporate collateral to support engagement and branding.
Support OHS and ISO compliance by maintaining a safe work environment, assisting with audits, and undertaking additional duties as required by management.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
Bachelor’s Degree Finance, Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
Professional qualification from CIM (UK) or SLIM (Sri Lanka) is highly preferred.
Diploma or certification in Graphic Design or Video Production is a significant advantage.
0 - 2 years of experience in branding, marketing communications, or corporate communications.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with basic design tools is an advantage.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or After Effects is an advantage.
Knowledge of digital and social media platforms relevant for corporate branding
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with shipping, logistics, or B2B corporate environments will be an added advantage.
