Our client is a leading European crypto company providing a comprehensive suite of financial solutions for businesses globally. Its product portfolio includes crypto payment processing, B2B wallets, and a SaaS platform that enables clients across travel, iGaming, e-commerce, and digital entertainment to process hundreds of millions of euros in transactions every month.

Role Overview

The role is for an Executive Board Member with hands-on experience across crypto payments, digital asset infrastructure, and B2B financial products.

Being in this role you will actively participate in the company’s strategic and operational decision-making, with a particular focus on product, commercial strategy, technology, operations, and risk. The Board Member will work closely with the leadership team and take an active role in shaping the company’s growth, product direction, and operational scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business & product strategy, shaping product roadmap, prioritization, merchant proposition, commercial model, and unit economics.
• Guide technology & payments infrastructure, overseeing platform development, technology strategy, and critical third-party providers.
• Support business growth & partnerships, contributing to scaling the business and developing strategic partnerships.
• Lead on operational resilience & risk, managing critical incidents and key risks associated with scaling a regulated crypto business.
• Advocate for compliance and regulatory alignment, ensuring adherence to international crypto regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Senior executive experience in crypto, digital assets, payments, or related financial infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on expertise in crypto payments, processing, transfers, custody, and business wallets.
• Experience working with B2B/institutional merchants and understanding merchant segmentation and product-market fit.
• Proven track record of launching or scaling crypto payment products, gateways, or platforms.
• Experience with P&L, pricing, revenue models, and unit economics across a significant business or product area.
• Experience shaping product strategy and roadmap and working across Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Experience selecting and managing critical technology and strategic partners, including custody, liquidity, blockchain, KYT, and banking providers.
• First-hand experience managing complex technology, operational, or business incidents.
