Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

Plan, coordinate and prepare up-to-date ESG reporting and benchmarking.


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Execute Sustainability Programmes for All Stakeholders​

  • Support sustainability operations and contributing towards the implementation of sustainability strategies, plans, programmes and action plans. ​
  • Coordinate and support strategic projects/tasks, implementation of sustainability related programmes, stakeholder engagement and effective disclosures

2. Execute and Report Sustainability Performance ​

  • Support and enhance the sustainability performance by coordinating and reporting on pprogress of projects and tasks to ensure the attainment of agreed goals and targets. ​
  • Collate Performance Progress compile measurement data for periodic performance reports. ​
  • Coordinate and collate ESG data for benchmarking assessments and ESG-related awards participation.​
  • Gather inputs for the Corporate Sustainability Report and facilitate the preparation of the Annual Sustainability Report.​

​ 3. Advocate the Organisation Sustainability Culture and Capability​

  • Prepare the annual plan for group-wide ESG capability building and upskilling, maintain a group-wide ESG Training Matrix, tracking and updating training records.​
  • Prepare and disseminate innovative communication materials (e.g., newsletters, bulletins) to internal stakeholders on ESG initiatives.​
  • Coordinate and execute relevant initiatives under the sustainability capability plan. ​

​ 4. Support ESG benchmarking and disclosure​

  • Identify and propose opportunities for ESG benchmarking, disclosure, and reporting to enhance business visibility, reputation, and competitiveness.​
  • Research and analyze gaps in emerging ESG disclosure/reporting standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.​

​ 5. Support Networking and Partnerships ​

  • Maintain an established network (Internal and external) of partners, alliances and associates to support sustainability strategies, initiatives, and action plans

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, Energy Studies, Finance, Economics or equivalent. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sustainable development, ESG analysis/assessment/ reporting or related fields.

Additional Experience:

  • GRI certified or any certificate course on ESG,
  • Familiarity with GRI, SASB, TCFD, GHG Protocols Reporting and Climate-related reporting standards
