Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Global Head of Institutional Client Group & Global Corporate Coverage, Co-Head of Fixed Income Structuring

Location: London

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President/Vice President

This is a unique opportunity to work with the Senior member on a day-to–day basis. You will gain an unrivalled overview of the Fixed Income (FIC) & Corporate Bank coverage & Structuring groups and strategic decision-making processes, priorities and deep insights into the topics, with the opportunity to extensively broaden your skillset.

You will have previous professional experience and demonstrate the highest levels of personal integrity and strong work ethics. As a proactive self-starter and team player, you will be exceptionally well-organized and capable of interacting and communicating at senior management level with confidence and humility. You will bring in-depth knowledge of our organisation, possess a robust network, and thrive on delivering a variety of tasks under time pressure while maintaining keen attention to detail.

Your key responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison for key day-to-day topics of the Senior member and take responsibility for coordination with business and ensure an efficient information flow across the organisation
  • Coordinate and prepare meetings with various internal and external stakeholders (including presentations and briefings)
  • Support the Senior member in the preparation of key internal or external events, including client events
  • Prepare briefings for Senior member meetings and coordinate flow of deliverables
  • Pro-actively identify key risks & issues and collaborate with/ trigger stakeholders to propose mitigation actions
  • Ensure the day-to-day operations of the Senior member office are running smoothly, including tracking of projects, execution of follow ups and inbox management

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent understanding of Deutsche Bank’s strategy and structure, knowledge of Clients and a strong internal network. German skills would be a plus. Corporate Bank / Transaction Banking experience would be a plus
  • Experience in working in a challenging, fast-paced and international environment
  • Very strong analytical skills and ability to build robust professional networks
  • Ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situations with limited guidance under time pressure
  • Entrepreneurial mind set with result-oriented working style, strong sense for prioritisation and a mentality for getting things done while looking for opportunities to improve the status quo
