Job Category: Admin - ClericalThe Executive Assistant will report directly to the CEO while working independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties. Review, create, organize, proofread, and maintain confidential information/documents. Maintains professional communication/s and confidentiality of information as appropriate.  The Executive Assistant will provide backup as needed for the internal Board Liaison.
Duties Include:
- Provides wide range of complex office administration and support to the CEO of AgeWays. Prepares agendas, organizes special meetings and events. Prepares, transcribes and distributes meeting minutes. Proofreads and checks documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance according to AgeWays policies.
- Acts as a gatekeeper for the CEO by managing and prioritizing time, access, and commitments. Manages a complex Outlook calendar, balancing internal and external meetings while proactively adjusting and rescheduling engagements on short notice to accommodate business priorities
- Proactively responds to a wide variety of requests with expeditious action and with a positive, consultative approach.
- At the direction of the CEO, gathers data and compiles various reports for Leadership.
- Provide operational back-up support to the Board Liaison as needed.

QualificationsJob

Qualifications:
- Liberal Arts degree minimum, Bachelors degree preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years experience in an executive administrative support role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all employees, external stakeholders, public officials, as necessary.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced communication, written, grammar and proofreading skills.
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office, desktop publishing and database software is required.
- Must be able to use general office equipment as necessary to perform the duties of the position.
