Executive Assistant to the CEO

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments - and ready to go beyond traditional support? This role combines high-level executive assistance with contribution to planning and content development.

If you’re highly organised, tech-savvy, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders, this is an opportunity to make a real impact at the heart of our global organisation.

In this role, you’ll provide high-level support to the CEO as they lead our global organisation, while also collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless business support.

You’ll not only manage complex scheduling and logistics for the CEO but also play an active role in shaping plans, drafting documents, to accelerate the productivity of the CEO office. As a digital native, with proficient Microsoft Office skills and modern collaboration tools - including AI solutions like Microsoft Copilot - you’ll help turn meeting output into actionable plans.

Please note; the job holder is expected to be predominantly office-based but with the flexibility for home working ~ 1 day a week.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

As Executive Assistant, your primary focus will be providing PA support to the CEO. You will also help to support the wider Executive Leadership Team and work closely with key stakeholders across the business.

Diary and Logistical Support

  • Complex diary management ensuring seamless scheduling and prioritisation
  • Contribute to internal projects and support the wider Executive team
  • Coordinating travel including itineraries, visas and accommodation
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Planning and organising high-level meetings and workshops, including site tours and client engagement
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, maintaining a professional, polished style with clarity and attention to detail, when interacting with internal and external clients
  • Processing and submitting expenses accurately and in a timely manner
  • Providing on-site support for executive-led events

Productivity enhancement

  • Content development and project support, converting meeting output into draft documents, plans, or strawman proposals to move actions forward.
  • Contributing to presentations, reports, and strategic documents that reflect the CEO’s vision.
  • Demonstrating high digital productivity and collaboration, through strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and whiteboard tools.
  • Leveraging modern collaboration platforms and AI tools (including Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate work and improve quality.
  • Taking minutes and producing reports for internal meetings, ensuring clear and actionable documentation

You will report to the Head of Business Support and be a part of, and a role model for, the wider EA team at Cambridge Consultants. This is a fast-moving role that offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a real impact.
