RBS Digital Executive Assistant (14-month Secondment)

Your Team

Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering seamless banking experiences to more than 13 million personal and small business customers.

Within RBS, the Customer, Digital & AI (CDAI)team designs and delivers customer-led digital journeys and AI-enabled experiences at scale.

In this role, you will support two General Managers (Crew Lead Digital and Crew Lead NetBank), playing a critical role in enabling leadership effectiveness and team performance.

Your Responsibilities

You will provide high-quality executive and operational support, with a strong focus on efficiency, stakeholder experience, and continuous improvement:

  • Deliver efficient, professional administrative, secretarial, and business support to senior leaders

  • Manage complex diaries and inboxes to maximise leader effectiveness, including prioritisation, scheduling, and preparation of high-quality daily meeting packs

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including stakeholder engagement,logistics, and room bookings

  • Support budget and expense management, ensuringtimelyandaccurateprocessing of invoices and adherence to Group policies

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a seamless and compliant experience for team members

  • Arrange travel, itineraries, offsites, and team events witha high levelof accuracy and attention to detail

  • Support leadership team meetings, including agenda coordination, minute taking, and follow-up actions

  • Contribute to team planning, coordination rhythms, and quarterly events/cadence activities

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and all Group policies and procedures

  • Ensure leaders are set up for success through proactive diary, inbox, and workflow management

  • Enable smooth onboarding/offboarding with 100% compliance to required processes

  • Actively contribute to team culture, engagement initiatives, and coordination rhythms

  • Support leadership forums and team ceremonies with high-quality preparation and follow-through

Operational & Financial Excellence (Shareholder)

  • Ensure 100% compliancewith expense management policies, includingaccurateandtimelyprocessing of invoices and expenses

  • Maintainaccurateteam data and administrative records

  • Identifyand support process improvements that drive efficiency and cost effectiveness

  • Support office coordination to meet team attendance and workplace needs

Strategic & Business Outcomes

  • Provide superior executive support to maximise leader and team effectiveness

  • Ensure high-quality delivery of meetings, events, and communications (e.g.accuratepacks, minimal errors, strong stakeholder feedback)

  • Deliver travel,logistics, and event coordination witha high levelof accuracy and satisfaction

  • Support operating rhythms and business continuity, including coverage during absences

We’reInterested in Hearing from People Who Have:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and team support
