Formulates and recommends policy and programs of work to the department head/division director.
Supervises the Administrative staff and makes recommendations to the department head regarding staff reviews.
Assists and advises the department head/division director in all phases of the direction and supervision of the office’s activities.
Prepares all confidential correspondence for the department head/division director.
Oversees the appointment and meeting schedule for the department head/division director.
Oversees maintenance of a comprehensive central filing system accessible to all employees who have a need for the files.
Assists the department head/division director in maintaining expenditures within the budget amounts.
Utilizes personal computers and appropriate software to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A Master's Degree and four (4) years experience related to the above described duties OR a Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years experience related to the above described duties OR successful completion of two years of college and seven (7) years experience to the above described duties.
