Job Purpose

The Executive Assistant & Project Manager to the CEO provides comprehensive executive and secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer while also driving the tracking and delivery of key projects across the organisation. The role combines a high level of discretion, organisation, and stakeholder management with the ability to coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring the CEO's priorities are met and strategic initiatives are followed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support to the CEO

• Manage the CEO's schedule, communications, meetings, and travel logistics to optimise productivity and ensure strategic priorities are met.
• Act as gatekeeper and liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, including governing body members and school leadership teams.
• Provide full secretarial support including agenda preparation, minute taking, action tracking, and event planning.
• Draft internal and external correspondence, communications, briefings, and presentations on behalf of the CEO.
• Handle confidential matters with utmost discretion, diplomacy, and trustworthiness.
• Coordinate CEO-led events, visits to schools and strategic partners, and regular governance meetings.
• Support personal administrative tasks and logistics, where required.

Project & Operational Management

• Track and manage key projects and milestones, ensuring follow-through and timely delivery across functions and geographies.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to prepare and maintain project documentation, timelines, and dashboards.
• Actively support the CEO in daily operational planning, preparation for meetings, and follow-up on strategic items.
• Implement systems and processes to streamline workflows and standardise executive operations.
• Support reporting, data collation, and research to inform executive decision-making.
• Undertake tasks to support members of the Queen Elizabeth’s Global Schools Team, ensuring alignment with divisional priorities and timelines.

Skills, Attributes & Qualifications

Essential

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years' experience supporting senior executives and/or managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Discreet, dependable, and highly detail oriented.
• Ability to anticipate needs, think strategically, and work with minimal supervision.

Desirable

• Experience in K-12 education or working with education sector clients.
• Familiarity with MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint & Power BI.
• Knowledge of another language.
