Responsibilities
Responsible for consolidation and company monthly management reports, budgets and quarterly forecasts, analysis of results and preparation of monthly and annual financial, management and statutory reports
Liaison with Shared Services Team, on daily, monthly closing matters and year end matters
Liaison with Shared Services Team, Treasury Team and Bank on bank related matters
Review monthly closing submission (including Cognos submission to Group consolidation)
Review monthly cashflow submission for Group consolidation
Review quarterly GST submission prepared by Shared Services Team
Prepare Forecast and Budget for investment holding companies
Liaison with Auditors on year end matters and draft financial statements
Liaison with Tax agents on tax queries, provisions and tax computations
Prepare statutory filings (eg surveys, XBRL, FATCA & CRS filing)
Requirements
With Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
At least 2-5 years of experience in audit/accounting environment (preferably with experience in group consolidation)
Team & results-oriented with the ability to balance business considerations
Able to work under pressure, independently and deliver on tight reporting deadlines
Liaison with Chinese stakeholders, proficiency in Mandarin is required
Fast learner, resourceful, meticulous, and adaptive to changes
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Those with hands-on experience in SAP, TM1 and/or Cognos Controller, and knowledge in accounting practice will be at an advantage
