Job Description

SOKNA is dedicated to transforming all aspects of the funeral service process in Egypt.

Our company’s objective is to assist families when they experience a loss by providing a

seamless and curated service that relieves them of the stress and fear of navigating

funeral logistics. We’re a highly ambitious start-up with a dedicated and energetic team,

and we’re looking for similarly passionate individuals to grow with us.

SOKNA is looking for a Executive Assistant This is a challenging role with tremendous

opportunity to learn and grow. This Executive Assistant will be a jack of all trades and

will report directly to the CEO. S/he must be extremely organized, highly focused and

efficient. S/he must be super punctual and attentive to detail. This person should be

excellent at multitasking and comfortable with the chaos and fast pace of a startup.

The Executive Assistant needs to be flexible, fast-learner, and self-motivated.

Requirements

● Organize and manage the calendar of the CEO and the executive team. Book

meetings, summarize pre-reads and set clear and efficient meeting agendas

● Attend meetings and take detailed notes. Identify, assign and track action items

to completion

● Handle communication on various channels on behalf of the CEO

● Draft letters, documents, contracts and proposals in English and Arabic to

various stakeholders and institutions

● Collect product feedback from customers and third party vendors on a weekly

basis though written and verbal communication

● Run analysis and produce weekly data-driven reports and insights

● Prepare and present presentations internally and externally

● Handle sensitive and highly confidential information

● Enforce company rules and regulations in the workplace

● Coordinate travel arrangements for the CEO

● Organizing small, medium and large scale events

● Handle and follow up on recruitment and hiring processes

● Monitor company and team expenditure and propose optimizations

● Collect, submit and reconcile expense reports for the CEO

● Own and handle office management duties

● Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO

QUALIFICATIONS

● Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university. A Master's Degree is a plus

● worked in a start up

● Experience in real estate

● 7 - 9 years of experience in an administrative, project management or similar role

● Highly organized, efficient, presentable, impact-driven, and process oriented

● Tech-enabled. Comfortable with Google Drive, spreadsheets and other tools

● Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse

stakeholders to drive alignment

● Great with numbers with solid quantitative analysis skills

● Proficient in spoken and written English and Arabic

● Personal Skills: Leadership, Self-Motivated, Teamwork, Critical Thinking, Problem

Solving, Result Oriented, Growth Mindset
