Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Vice President and helps manage the day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Management office. Support includes daily and long-range management of the Vice President’s schedule; coordination of travel arrangements; preparation of materials for meetings and events; tracking and ordering supplies; and organizing and maintaining files and records. The Executive Assistant is also responsible for screening calls, welcoming visitors, and providing excellent customer service to all guests and stakeholders of the office. Works as part of a team supporting the Enrollment Management division. This administrative role will provide coordinated executive, operational, and administrative support across the Enrollment Management division. Cross-train team members to provide backup coverage and ensure continuity during peak periods and staff absences. Performs other duties as assigned.Job Details

- Offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and physical.Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least four (4) years of directly related experience, specifically executive administration or prior related experience in a higher education environment.
- Prior experience working with diverse populations.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Required Skills and Ability
- Strong computer skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals, internal and external to the University.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters.
- Must exercise considerable tact, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information while making decisions based on best practices and sound professional judgment.
- Must be task, detail, schedule, and priority oriented.
- Critical writing ability and excellent organization skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of meetings, conversations, documents, personnel materials, and other sensitive matters pertaining to the work of the Vice President.
- Ability to interact knowledgably and effectively with other university personnel.
- Excellent human relations, organization, and administrative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
