PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $106,600.00-$130,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $82,900.00 - $154,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As the Executive Assistant supporting BECU’s Chief Risk Officer (CRO), you’ll play a vital role in helping executive leadership and teams operate at their best. Serving as a dedicated strategic partner to the CRO, you’ll create structure in a fast-moving environment, build strong relationships across the organization, and help ensure priorities, communications, and initiatives stay aligned and moving forward with efficiency and professionalism.

In this highly collaborative role, your ability to anticipate needs, manage sensitive information with professionalism, and create seamless experiences for both internal and external partners will directly contribute to the success of the organization. You’ll bring organization, adaptability, and thoughtful communication to every interaction while helping foster a positive and connected team culture. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence processes, improve workflows, and support meaningful initiatives that help BECU continue delivering exceptional service to its members and employees alike.

***This is an in-office role with some flexibility for remote work once a successful relationship with the CRO and EA team is established.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Executive Partnership: Support Executive leadership through proactive calendar management, complex scheduling coordination, and detailed travel planning that keeps priorities organized and moving efficiently.
  • Communication & Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of connection for internal and external communications, helping maintain strong partnerships, professional presentations, and meaningful engagement opportunities.
  • Confidential Decision Support: Handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion while supporting leadership in a trusted capacity.
  • Cross-Functional Administrative Support: Provide additional support across divisions, including assisting Vice Presidents and teams, coordinating onboarding activities, and contributing to special projects and initiatives.
  • Board & Committee Coordination: Help facilitate Board and Management Committee meetings by coordinating logistics, preparing agendas and materials, recording meeting minutes, tracking action items, and maintaining organized document archives.
  • Budget & Financial Support: Assist with annual financial planning efforts and ongoing department budget maintenance, including creating and managing budget spreadsheets and related documentation.
  • Expense & Invoice Management: Coordinate monthly expense reporting, invoice submissions, expense tracking, and spending research to help ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Meeting & Event Planning: Organize and coordinate engaging on-site and off-site meetings, events, and team gatherings that create positive and productive experiences.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service quality through thoughtful process recommendations.
  • Research & Reporting: Gather, research, and compile reports and information that support leadership decision-making and organizational priorities.
  • Member & Stakeholder Support: Respond to member inquiries with professionalism, empathy, diplomacy, and timely follow-through.
  • Organizational Awareness: Build strong knowledge of BECU functions and department interactions to effectively support collaboration across the organization.
  • Team Collaboration & Coverage: Partner closely with fellow Executive Assistants and provide backup support when needed to ensure seamless team operations.
  • Culture & Engagement Support: Help foster a positive team environment by supporting morale-building activities and leadership engagement initiatives.
  • Presentation & Document Support: Prepare, proofread, and compile PowerPoint presentations, meeting packets, and professional documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Additional Contributions: Take on additional responsibilities and special assignments that support team and organizational success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work or education-related experience required.
  • 5 years of general administrative assistance work required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience supporting Senior or C-Suite level Executives.
  • Budget preparation and planning experience.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Ability to organize the utilization of remote communication software functionality, and other capabilities that enable remote collaboration and connection.
  • Ability to record and transcribe meeting minutes in current professional format.
  • Excellent PC skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite – MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively communicate and provide customer service.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills required.
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
