Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 537156) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-2 years of clerical experience preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua. They should also be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude; have strong interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills; as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
The appointees will provide administrative and clerical support to the undergraduate programmes, in areas including but not limited to student enrichment, course enrolment, examinations, timetabling, student matters and day-to-day enquiries, and perform any other duties as assigned. They may be required to work outside normal office hours. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
