Reporting to the Executive Director of Alumni Relations, the incumbent will provide administrative support, and coordinate and process tasks for programs and activities for the Office of Alumni Relations. The incumbent will serve as a contact for alumni, the general public and other university employees responding to general questions and/or refer as needed. Responsibilities include answer calls and emails, greet visitors, schedule appointments, make travel arrangements, read/handle and route mail. The incumbent will manage daily operations, including payables, contracts, petty cash, work orders, and supplies; reconcile and maintain departmental budgets, personnel records, and other necessary reports; compose routine, non-routine and confidential correspondence as requested by the Director. The incumbent is responsible for the event reservations process to include payments and ticket disbursement and event preparation for all alumni functions and meetings. Update physical address and email address updates in Banner 9 and iModules. Supervise student workers. Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Three years of progressively responsible secretarial, clerical and or office experience.
Note: An associate's degree (two years of college coursework) and one year of related work experience may be considered.
Experience in higher education and Alumni Relations environment preferred.
