The Executive Assistant will support the General Manager and Operations Team of an Amazon Customer Fulfillment Center, STR1. A successful candidate is highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to handle confidential information while responding effectively to shifting workloads and priorities. This role combines classic executive support — scheduling, travel, expense management, and meeting coordination — with ownership of local projects, process standardization, and operational metrics across the FC. The ideal candidate communicates with clarity, manages multiple assignments and stakeholders simultaneously, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven fulfillment environment where it's always DAY1.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
You start the day reviewing the General Manager's calendar and prepping for the daily operations review of key FC metrics (safety, quality, productivity). Mid-morning, you coordinate with key stakeholders to unblock an active project, then update site leadership team. You handle travel and expense tasks between meetings, build a presentation for an upcoming steering committee, and consolidate improvement ideas from associates on the floor. Your internal stakeholders span regional and local teams; your "customers" are the FC's leaders and frontline associates. You close the day setting tomorrow's priorities.

We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one.
Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world.
Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind.
You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
