Executive Assistant (524674)

  • Provide trusted, high-level executive support to the Chief Financial Officer in a prominent University leadership office.
  • Coordinate executive priorities, key deliverables and stakeholder engagement across the Finance Division.
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $99,040 – $104,669 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer leads the University’s financial strategy and management, supporting effective financial stewardship, planning and decision-making across The University of Western Australia. As part of the Finance Division, the Office works with senior leaders and stakeholders across the University to support its strategic and operational priorities.

About the opportunity

  • Provide proactive, high-level executive support to the Chief Financial Officer, including complex diary and travel management, correspondence, executive workflows and the coordination of competing priorities.
  • Prepare and coordinate agendas, meeting papers, briefings, reports, presentations and internal communications, while monitoring actions and maintaining effective records and document-control processes.
  • Build productive relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, coordinate sensitive information and enquiries, and support the effective administration of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency, together with substantial experience providing executive and administrative support to an executive or similarly senior leader.
  • Highly developed organisational and time-management skills, with the initiative and judgement to manage complex schedules, competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and editing executive correspondence, reports, briefing materials and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and digital systems, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively while delivering responsive, high-quality service.
