Job Description
Job Location: Dogs Inc Main Campus - Palmetto, FL 34221, The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the CEO, providing high-level administrative, organizational, and stakeholder support while exercising independent judgment and maintaining strict confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Manage CEO calendar and priorities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO and the board of directors, Mission Advancement Council, C-Suite team, donors, and other key stakeholders.
- Prioritize, manage, and facilitate executive communications, using discretion to identify matters requiring immediate attention.
- Support the CEO in planning and execution of meetings, including preparation of agendas, presentations, and minutes.
- Coordinate executive scheduling, travel, meetings, and events.
- Conduct donor research and maintain accurate and timely records in Raiser’s Edge.
- Support fundraising, marketing, communications, and research initiatives as assigned.
- Assemble and maintain strategic plans and executive-level records.
- Provide VIP campus tours and articulate the organization’s mission to donors, partners, and the public.
- Uphold the organization’s Code of Ethics and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Lead special projects as directed by the CEO.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of administrative or executive support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least two years of college-level coursework or equivalent required.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database systems.
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations and board relations preferred.
