Gardner Vaughan is an established, Brisbane-based builder-developer with a proud 37-year legacy of excellence. We specialise in creating quality multi-residential apartment projects throughout South-east Brisbane, transforming landscapes while building communities around our developments.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional, administrative EA role. We are looking for a trusted, true business partner to act as an operational extension of our Commercial Director. The Commercial Director holds the commercial health of the business across sales, marketing, brand, and client success. As this portfolio expands rapidly across South East Queensland, we need a serious operator to close the gap between strategic vision and operational execution.

Weighted heavily toward strategic partnership, project coordination, and senior stakeholder engagement, you will extend the Director’s reach, amplify his voice, and keep the commercial engine running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Partner day to day with the Commercial Director across sales, marketing and brand
• Manage meeting logistics
• Reset and maintain oversight of the sales and marketing strategy and its business action plans
• Lead the build of procedure and documentation across project marketing and project sales
• Develop growth plans for direct reports
• Support Sales & Marketing senior leaders toward genuine autonomy
• Own events end to end, from planning and suppliers through to on the day delivery
• Act as a proxy, attending meetings and following up commitments on behalf of the Commercial Director
• Prepare reports, presentations and board papers for the commercial portfolio

What You Bring

• Experience supporting a senior leader or operating in a coordination role, ideally in sales, marketing or project delivery
• A track record of building and embedding procedures or systems across teams
• Experience supporting the development of others, formally or informally
• Proven ability to run events without needing your principal across the detail
• Confidence engaging with senior leaders, and attending on your principal's behalf
• Strong organisation, communication and follow through
• Judgement, professionalism and discretion
