Your Role

If you're an Executive Assistant who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping busy, this role is for you. Supporting two Executive Directors, you'll be at the heart of some of Vinnies' most exciting portfolios and teams; Retail, Commercial, Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, Strategy & Engagement. No two days are the same as you coordinate priorities, keep leaders organised and help teams deliver work that makes a real impact across NSW. This is more than executive support, it's an opportunity to work across dynamic, purpose driven teams where your organisation, initiative and ability to stay one step ahead will make all the difference.

Your Responsibility

  • Provide high-level executive support to two Executive Directors, including complex diary, email and travel management.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and follow up actions to keep priorities moving.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders, stakeholders and Executive Assistants across the organisation.
  • Support teams across retail, fundraising, marketing, communications, strategy and engagement with administrative coordination.
  • Manage expenses, documentation and organisational processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help coordinate key initiatives, projects and annual planning activities.
  • Ensure competing priorities are managed efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive and high-performing team culture.

You Will Need

  • Experience providing Executive Assistant support to senior executives.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
  • Experience preparing agendas and taking minutes for senior leadership meetings.
  • A proactive approach, sound judgement and the ability to work with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Initiative, energy and a genuine enjoyment of making other people's jobs easier.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. Together, we are committed to improving the health outcomes for children today and in the future.

In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
