About You

As the Executive Assistant, you willprovidehigh-quality, executive-level administrative and operational support to the Director, Global Student Recruitment (GSR) and, asrequired, to members of the GSR Leadership Team.

The role carries responsibility for a range of administrative and coordination activities that support the effective operation of the Global Student Recruitment team.You’llmanage diaries,assistwith event planning, process financial transactions, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Your ability toprioritise, adapt, and work collaboratively will ensure the successful delivery of projects and team priorities.

In this role you will beexpected to build andmaintainprofessional relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including external agencies, partners, agents, and colleagues across the University, ensuring a high standard of professionalism, discretion, and service deliveryat all times

The Global Student Recruitment team builds connections between RMIT and future students inAustralia andinternationally. It engages directly with prospective students, as well as with schools, partner institutions, sponsors, and global education agents. Supports students through the admissions journey from application and offerthrough toenrolment. Delivers Exchange and Study Abroad programs to strengthen student mobility and global learning opportunities

To be successful in this position,you’llhave

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-level executive and administrative support to a senior executive or equivalent in a university environment or similar large and complexorganisationincluding diary and travel management, correspondence, management, document development, informationmanagementand high-level stakeholder liaison

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively,flexiblyand collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice and to drive creative solutions through to implementation within the immediate work area

  • Proven ability to work independently, use initiative andprioritisetasks and meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.

  • Demonstratedorganisation, interpersonal,oraland written communicationskillsand the proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of management,staffand external parties on complex,sensitiveand confidential issues

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and the demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative and creative solutions

  • Demonstrated high-level computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, a variety of booking and reconciliations systems,internetand email with the focus on accuracy and attention to detail
