Job Description

Why Work Here?

At ATCO, you’re part of a trusted community that values integrity, collaboration, and doing meaningful work that matters. Our purpose, creating prosperity and opportunity for generations to come, guides the decisions made at the highest levels of the organization and the work you’ll help enable.

You’ll also find an environment that invests in your growth, values sound judgment, and encourages continuous improvement in how work gets done. Together, we uphold a standard of excellence, challenge the status quo, and contribute to outcomes that extend far beyond the executive office, supporting our people, our customers, and the communities we serve.

About the Role:

You’ll play a hands-on, highly trusted role supporting Technology & Global Security as they advance technology, strengthen ways of working, and deliver meaningful change across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who brings executive-level organization, sound judgment, and discretion; someone who is energized by technology evolution, enjoys connecting people and processes, and can help turn priorities into practical action.

As Executive Assistant supporting the VP, IT Services & Operations, you’ll contribute to the daily momentum of a dynamic technology environment; helping manage priorities, coordinate executive schedules and meetings, prepare materials, support change management activities, and keep key stakeholders aligned as new tools, systems, and processes are introduced.

• Support technology evolution: Help IT teams move initiatives forward by coordinating executive priorities, tracking progress, managing follow-ups, and enabling smooth adoption of new tools and processes
• Champion change: Contribute to change management activities by preparing communications, supporting stakeholder engagement, and helping teams understand what is changing and why
• Be a trusted connector: Build strong relationships across IT and the broader business, helping translate needs, coordinate action, protect confidential information, and keep information flowing
• Work close to the action: Bring curiosity, sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to a role that supports executive effectiveness, technology delivery, continuous improvement, and operational readiness

What You Get to Do:

• Support IT leaders and teams by helping coordinate priorities, meetings, decisions, and follow-up actions that keep technology work moving forward
• Prepare agendas, materials, briefings, and updates that help teams stay aligned on initiatives, risks, milestones, and next steps
• Support change management activities for new tools, systems, and process improvements, including stakeholder updates, readiness materials, and adoption support
• Draft and refine clear communications that help teams understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to engage with new ways of working
• Maintain organized project and communication materials while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate version control
• Contribute hands-on to IT initiatives by tracking deliverables, surfacing dependencies, coordinating inputs, and helping remove barriers to progress
• Use technology tools and platforms to improve how information is organized, shared, and acted on across the team
• Research, compile, and synthesize information to support technology planning, decision-making, and operational readiness
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and strengthen team effectiveness as technology and business needs evolve
• Build trusted relationships across IT, business teams, vendors, and partners to support collaboration and timely follow-through
• Act as a practical connector between people, priorities, and technology-enabled change while representing the team with professionalism and sound judgment

What You Bring:

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 7+ years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including 3+ years supporting senior or executive leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• High level of professionalism and integrity when handling sensitive or confidential matters
• Genuine interest in technology and curiosity about how IT tools, systems, and processes support business operations
• Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and exercise good judgment
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to collaborate and build relationships across all levels
• Willingness to travel, though minimal
• Experience with MS Copilot and/or Google Gemini are strong assets

What We Offer:

• A culture based on caring, integrity, agility, collaboration, and striving for excellence
• Competitive compensation
• Flex benefits
• Tuition assistance program
• Training and mentorship programs
• Charitable donation matching

We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
