Our Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leaders within Goodstart Early Learning.

In this role, you’ll manage busy and ever-changing diaries, coordinate meetings and communications, prepare professional correspondence and support day-to-day operations with a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.

Your Impact:

  • Provide high-level executive support including complex diary and appointment management
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and support follow-up actions where required
  • Draft professional correspondence, responses and business communications for senior leaders
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations and other confidential documentation
  • Manage competing priorities and shifting deadlines in a calm and organised manner
  • Maintain accurate records, systems and administrative processes
  • Undertake research and support special projects as required
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across various levels of the organisation
  • Navigate sensitive and occasionally challenging matters with professionalism, resilience and confidentiality
  • Occasionally coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements as required

You’ll bring to the table:

  • Previous experience ideally within the Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant space supporting senior leadership within large, multi-site or corporate environments
  • Strong diary management and organisational skills within fast-paced environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence drafting professional correspondence
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate across multiple levels of an organisation
  • High level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive matters
  • Resilience and confidence navigating challenging conversations or confronting emails professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving capability
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Previous exposure to human services, education or purpose-led organisations will be highly regarded

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
