About the role



We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high quality executive and administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the Risk & Compliance Leadership Team. This role is critical to the smooth running of a busy, fast paced risk function.

You will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and board processes, prepare high quality documentation, and support financial and administrative activities across the team. Success in this role requires exceptional organisation, attention to detail, discretion, and confidence working at executive and board level.

In this role you'll be the owner of and accountable for

Executive & Strategic Support


  • Provide end to end executive support to the CRO, including diary management, prioritisation of commitments and information flow.

  • Prepare, coordinate and quality check communications, presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership, Board and internal forums.

  • Assist with board and committee processes, including timelines, collation of inputs and document quality assurance.

  • Support internal communications on behalf of the CRO, ensuring messages are clear, accurate and appropriately tailored.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes through effective use of Microsoft tools and emerging AI capabilities.

Operational & Administrative Management

  • Manage high volume diary scheduling and meeting coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers, actions and follow ups.
  • Prepare, format and proofread reports, presentations and documents using the Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Maintain Risk & Compliance process and procedure documentation with strong version control.
  • Act as a key liaison with Executive Assistants across the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Provide administrative support for ad hoc projects, team events and general office requirements.

Financial Administration & Governance

  • Manage financial administration for the Risk & Compliance function, including:
    • Payment requests, AMEX acquittals and staff reimbursements
    • Monthly invoicing activities, including raising invoices and credits
    • Accounts payable activities, including purchase orders and receipting
  • Support audit ready practices through accurate record keeping and adherence to internal policies and controls.
  • Collate and maintain monthly financial reporting as required.


About you

You are a confident, professional Executive Assistant with strong judgment and the ability to work autonomously in a highly confidential environment.

You will bring:


  • 10+ years’ experience providing executive and/or secretarial support in a corporate or professional services environment.

  • Intermediate to advanced capability across Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Visio.

  • Experience in diary, email and expense management for executives, senior leaders.

  • Experience working with leadership team and collaborating with them in order to prepare presentations for the Executive Townhall and monthly/quarterly meetings

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adopting AI tools and methods where required

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Highly regarded:


  • Experience with Coupa or similar financial systems.

  • Experience supporting risk, compliance or governance functions within financial services.
