About the Role


We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to partner directly with Ryan, one of our Co-Founders. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll be a trusted partner, helping him stay focused on what matters most while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Ryan moves fast across a wide range of priorities: you'll help bring structure, manage tradeoffs, and ensure consistent follow-through.
This isn't a traditional EA role. You'll have a front-row seat to how a fast-growing company is built, with real visibility into strategy, a close relationship with senior leadership, and genuine influence over how Ryan operates at his best.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Toronto. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely but will be expected in the office for key meetings, team events, and collaborative work sessions.

What you’ll be doing


Executive Partnership & Operations


  • Act as a trusted partner to Ryan: proactively manage his complex calendar and priorities, and be someone he can confidently delegate to knowing things will get done
  • Keep Ryan accountable to his commitments: flagging when the plate is too full and pushing back when tradeoffs need to happen
  • Own the full scope of EA support: travel, expenses, meeting prep, inbox triage, and the day-to-day admin


Driving Alignment & Follow-Through


  • Track action items and key initiatives across leadership meetings
  • Be a trusted, credible presence across the team: coordinate and support cross-functional projects, keep the right people aligned, and drive things forward on Ryan's priorities without always needing to pull him in


Process Improvement


  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve workflows, and introduce new tools or systems
  • Leverage tools (including AI) to increase efficiency in how you and your executive operate

What you bring to the table


  • 3–6 years of experience in an Executive Assistant or executive operations role, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment
  • A "no task too small or too big" mindset: you're equally comfortable with the details and with driving bigger initiatives
  • First principles thinker: you don't just execute tasks, you understand the "why" behind the work in order to make good decisions in the face of ambiguity
  • AI-fluent: you naturally reach for AI tools to find new ways to move faster and work smarter
  • Organized, proactive, and emotionally intelligent: you anticipate what's next, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-moving environment
