The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high level administrative, operational, and strategic support to a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Corporate Affairs. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs. The ideal candidate is a trusted partner and advisor who thrives in a fast paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, able to work without guidance, and is comfortable representing the SVP in day to day communications.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Act independently to organize and support meetings, conferences and events
  • Manage and optimize a complex executive calendar, including scheduling, rescheduling, and prioritizing meetings
  • Coordinate across multiple stakeholders and time zones to ensure deadlines and commitments are met
  • Attend meetings as required and prepare meeting minutes, notes and action logs
  • Provide high level administrative support including document assimilation, preparation, and quality assurance
  • Act as liaison between SVP and internal and external contacts
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to the SVP, proactively managing priorities and anticipating needs
  • Act as point of contact for administration issues and escalating as appropriate
  • Liaise and provide support to other RWE Assistants, providing coverage for other Executive Assistants when needed
  • Plan and book all SVP business travel including preparation of all necessary forms and documents
  • Prepare and submit travel and business expense reports accurately and on time
  • Check, and maintain SVP email Inbox; forward, escalate and respond as necessary

Job Requirements and Experiences:

  • Minimum 7 years of high level executive support
  • Proven demonstration of analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology programs
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and follow through
  • This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWE Americas offices and field locations
  • Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in Washington D.C. is $86,000 - $112,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
