Executive Assistant
Balentine is seeking a seasoned, poised, and professional Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Chairman, CFO, and CIO. This EA role is part of a growing, fast-paced team in our Atlanta headquarters. By providing critical support to key personnel, this person plays a significant role in the organization's success and well-being, as well as its presence in the larger business community in Atlanta.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner, providing seamless day-to-day support, managing competing priorities, and helping create a smooth and professional experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
This is a high-responsibility support role for senior executives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and exercises sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism at all times. We expect this person to, with training, perform the following responsibilities:
Executive Support
o Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chairman, CFO, and CIO
oManage complex calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings and resolving conflicts
oCoordinate all meeting logistics, including agendas, materials, and follow-ups
oArrange and manage detailed travel itineraries
oPrepare polished materials and ensure all deliverables meet firm standards
oTrack and manage corporate and personal expense reporting with accuracy and timeliness
oServe as a gatekeeper by prioritizing requests and managing inbound communications
oMaintain organized records and documentation for ease of access and continuity
oAct as a liaison between executives and IT as needed
CEO Support (Backup)
oProvide supplemental support to the CEO’s Executive Assistant as needed, including scheduling and expense reporting
Events & Meetings
oSupport the planning and execution of client events and internal meetings
oCoordinate logistics and provide on-site support when needed
oPartner with internal teams to ensure a high-quality, professional experience
Coordination & Execution
oTrack action items and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables
oAssist in coordinating projects and initiatives as directed by executives
oManage competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
Collaboration & Relationship Management
oBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners
oFacilitate clear and professional communication across stakeholders
oProvide thoughtful, responsive support that reflects the firm’s standards and values
Additional Support
oAssist with administrative needs across the broader team as required
oProvide backup coverage for other administrative roles when needed
oContribute to a collaborative, team-first environment
Qualifications
o5–10 years of experience supporting senior executives in a professional environment
oProven ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and sound judgment
oStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to operate with a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability
o Advance knowledge of Outlook and an expert at calendaring
o Experience with Concur or similar expense reporting software; familiarity with Salesforce
o Experience in an RIA or financial services and supporting a Board of Directors, a plus
