About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join us as soon as possible, to cover a 12 month period while our current EA is on parental leave. We’re open to both full-time and part-time arrangements (Eg. 3 days or 5 school-hour days). We are located in Glynde and whilst onsite working is preferred, we’re open to a hybrid working model for the right candidate.

This role is suited to someone who naturally creates structure, clarity and momentum, helping a CEO operate at their best by ensuring priorities are anticipated, time is well managed, and the right things happen at the right time. We see this role as one that can evolve and improve how things are done over time. Alongside managing core responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to refine processes, introduce more efficient ways of working, and help shift focus toward higher-value activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and improving high-quality presentations, board papers and reports, including drawing insights from financial and operational data to help shape a clear and compelling narrative
  • Managing the CEO’s calendar, meetings and travel arrangements, including anticipating priorities, planning ahead and ensuring time is aligned to key business needs
  • Assisting the CEO to stay organised and well prepared for key meetings and commitments
  • Coordinating company events and activities such as end-of-year celebrations, mid-year functions, team lunches and workshops
  • Managing day-to-day office operations including stationery, kitchen supplies, ordering and general upkeep of shared spaces
  • Supporting HR and internal administration tasks as required including internal document management, updating intranet pages and content and coordinating social and wellbeing initiates

About you

You’re a reliable, proactive EA who takes pride in being organised, helpful and a step ahead where it counts. You’re someone who enjoys keeping things running well, supporting others, and quietly making improvements that have a real impact over time.

You bring:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to anticipate needs and follow things through to completion
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, InDesign and Salesforce would be highly regarded
  • A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of both big and small tasks
  • Confidence preparing presentations and working with data, with the ability to interpret information and help present a clear story behind the numbers
  • A natural interest in improving how things are done, including using tools or technology (Eg. AI) to work more efficiently
