APM TerminalsLooking for an experienced Executive operation to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall deliverance

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments

• Assigningworksof daily planned activitiesofWarehouse.

• Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy

• Achievinghigh levelsof customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving,identifying,dispatchingand assuring quality of goods

• Measure andreport onthe effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance

• Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy

• Communicate job expectations and coach employees

• Determinestaffing levels and assign workload

• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems

• Maintain items record, document necessaryinformationandutilizereports to project warehouse status

• Identifyareas of improvement andestablishinnovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

• Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

• Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained

• Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed whenoperatingforklifts and other machinery

Required Experience & Skill Sets:

• Clear knowledge of warehouse operations

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Management skills

• Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiently

• Proficiencyin inventory and/or invoice software

• Ability to remain stationed for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor.
