
Job Summary: The Exec Director-Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership in assessing and advancing the University's enrollment management function. The Executive Director conducts a comprehensive evaluation of enrollment strategies, organizational structures, business processes, and operational outcomes related to recruitment, admissions, outreach, and student enrollment activities. Through collaboration with University leadership, faculty, and key stakeholders, the Executive Director analyzes enrollment data, market trends, competitive positioning, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improved effectiveness, efficiency, and enrollment outcomes.
The Executive Director develops and leads implementation of strategic recommendations designed to strengthen enrollment performance, improve organizational alignment, enhance the prospective student experience, and support sustainable institutional growth. Particular emphasis is placed on evaluating and optimizing the enrollment management model, strengthening graduate enrollment efforts, and establishing an integrated framework that promotes accountability, data-informed decision making, and alignment with the University's mission and strategic priorities. As a trusted advisor and change leader, the Executive Director guides organizational transformation efforts and supports the successful execution of enrollment management initiatives across the institution. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, student affairs, business, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in leading complex organizational assessments, strategic initiatives, or institutional transformation efforts required. Experience facilitating collaboration among senior leaders, academic departments, and administrative stakeholders.
Knowledge and Skills: Strong background in data analysis, performance metrics, and evidence-based decision-making. Able to read; write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access); operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, rules and laws; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
Licensures and Certifications: Professional training or certification in strategic planning, change management, process improvement, organizational effectiveness, or project management preferred.
