This position oversees all of one Excellerate regional branch operations and provides tooling and material support to manufacturing personnel. This also will include but not be limited to forklifts, mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), and rental tools. This position will be required to travel between branch locations determined by need. Follow budgetary needs on acquisition of tools and materials. Reach out to vendors on repairs and requests. Minor tooling repairs when required. Ensure compliance with safety standards for equipment use and storage. This position will also include cleaning the facility and handling cleaning requests throughout the day.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in Tool Coordinator or Manufacturing Support Role

Travel: 10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide solutions to day to day tool ordering/ fulfillment processes, deliveries and returns.
  • Provide solutions to tool repair processes and tasks
  • Use systems effectively to oversee the scheduling and planning of shipments using third party vendors
  • Provides solutions to shipping issues/ concerns as they arise
  • Identifies and establishes specific locations for items, including marking and tagging.
  • Ensures Inventory levels are monitored to predetermined min/max quantities.
  • Attends Company meetings as required by supervisor.
  • Maintains compliance with all OSHA and Company policies.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Support quality control of Excellerate’s tooling fleet.
  • Oversees the repair and refurbishment of damaged tools.
  • Controls the calibration dates and needs of calibrated tools
  • Controls the incoming and outgoing of forklifts, mobile elevating work platforms, and rented tools.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors for scheduling maintenance and onsite visits.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Run Forklifts, Floor Sweepers/Scrubbers, Scissor Lifts, and other various equipment throughout the facility.
