Job title: Examination Coordinator
Purpose
The role is responsible for coordinating and executing all activities related to the internal assessment examinations at the Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE). This includes ensuring timely and accurate conduct of online exams, managing the uploading and verification of examination papers, coordinating with faculty and students, and maintaining strict adherence to examination policies and data security protocols. The role also supports the supervisor in reviewing examination timetables and results prior to release, ensuring smooth, transparent, and compliant exam operations
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist Deputy Registrar the planning, scheduling, and smooth execution of Internal Assessments (IAs) for all UG, PG, and Executive Programs under the Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE).
- Collaborate with faculty to prepare question papers and method of evaluation in accordance with program outcomes and institutional guidelines.
- Ensure timely uploading, verification, and secure handling of question papers and other examination materials on the online platform.
- Facilitate communication between students, faculty, Student Support Centre and examination conduct teams to ensure clarity on schedules, guidelines, and evaluation procedures.
- Monitor timely entry of marks, verify grades, and coordinate the compilation and scrutiny of results before declaration.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and publication of examination results as per the approved schedule.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and updated records of examination schedules, student data, question papers, evaluations, attendance, and results.
- Generate and analyse reports and Management Information System (MIS) data on examination performance, trends, and compliance.
- Support faculty and evaluators in addressing examination-related queries and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, data security norms, and university regulations governing examinations.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in online assessment operations.
- Stay updated with the latest examination rules, regulations, and academic policies to ensure full compliance and timely implementation.

Qualification
Experience
- Preferably 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in Exam co-ordination and/or handling, organizing & conducting activities in academic/Student Support /general administration/MIS/Back Office with advanced MS Excel skills.
