Roles & Responsibilities :
SAP EWM Technical Lead Consultant with the ability to work effectively with customer business teams and project teams. Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, translate business requirements into SAP EWM processes, identify functional and technical gaps, and design appropriate solutions. Develop technical design documents and lead specific development and integration topics. Evaluate existing applications and identify opportunities for enhancements and new features. Possess good knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including side-by-side extensibility, application development, integration services, APIs, and BTP-based solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and EWM.
Educational qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
SAP EWM Technical certification is an added advantage.
Experience :
10-15 years of overall SAP experience.
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM Technical development (ABAP for EWM).
At least 2 full-cycle EWM implementations (Decentralized and/or Embedded on S/4HANA).
Strong experience in RF framework, IDocs, Enhancements, and custom developments
Exposure to integration projects with external systems (TMS, MES, WMS, automation).
Proven experience in leading technical teams, conducting code reviews, and guiding junior consultants.
Prior involvement in data migration (stock & master data) and cutover activities
Hands-on experience in post-go-live support and continuous improvement for EWM projects.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Minimum 10+ years hands-on experience in SAP EWM (Decentralized / Embedded on S/4HANA).
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP EWM Technical Development (ABAP on EWM).
Proven experience in:
BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, User Exits, RFCs
IDocs / ALE (custom and standard)
RF framework and mobile transactions
Adobe Forms / SmartForms for labels & documents
Good knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including side-by-side extensibility, application development, integration, and extension scenarios for SAP S/4HANA and EWM solutions.
* Development knowledge and hands-on experience with BTP-related technologies, including Node.js, Java, and ABAP, with the ability to design and develop cloud-based applications and extensions.
* Knowledge of SAP BTP services and development environments, including SAP Business Application Studio, APIs, integration services, and cloud application development concepts.
* Ability to design and develop extensions using clean-core principles, evaluating when to use in-app extensibility versus side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.
Knowledge of SAP EWM processes (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, HU & Batch Management).
Experience with integration EWM with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and external systems.
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Ability to lead technical design discussions and guide developers.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
