Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking an EW Trainer System Integrator to support the integration, configuration, and sustainment of mission-critical submarine training systems in Newport, Rhode Island. In this role, you will work with the Submarine Multi-Mission Team Trainer (SMMTT) and support its integration with the BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare (EW) Tactical System.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career technical professional with experience in systems integration, networking, configuration management, and programming/scripting who is interested in supporting U.S. Navy submarine training and Electronic Warfare capabilities. Prior BLQ-10 experience is not required - we can train the right candidate on the BLQ-10 environment. We are looking for someone who brings the core technical skills, strong troubleshooting ability, and a willingness to learn a specialized mission system.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope while following established processes, technical guidance, and detailed instructions.
  • Develop and implement solutions that integrate applications and systems within the Submarine Multi-Mission Team Trainer (SMMTT) with the BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare (EW) Tactical System.
  • Evaluate existing components and systems to identify integration requirements and help ensure final solutions meet program and operational needs.
  • Integrate systems, networks, servers, applications, and related technologies to support reliable end-to-end system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug system and integration issues to improve performance, reliability, and data quality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and visual representations of systems, interfaces, inputs, and outputs.
  • Partner with delivery teams, engineering, development, quality assurance, users, and management to support system integration, verification, and validation.
  • Provide recommendations in support of requirements management activities.
  • Review, revise, update, and maintain system configurations and associated configuration documentation.
  • Support development, quality assurance, and engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Serve as a technical liaison supporting integration between SMMTT and BLQ-10 across multiple project baselines.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, users, and management to coordinate system and configuration changes.
  • Define and implement the appropriate level of configuration management for configuration items.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute configuration management activities and products in support of required program milestone events.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Experience or familiarity with configuration management and deployment tools such as Ansible, Docker, and/or Clonezilla.
  • Networking experience, including a working understanding of networked systems and troubleshooting.
  • Programming or scripting experience with one or more of the following: Bash, C++, and/or Python.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn the BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare Tactical System. Prior BLQ-10 experience is not required; training can be provided.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
