Job Category: General LaborThe EVS Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the health and safety standards for
Eagle Mountain Casino (EMC). This position provides guidance and daily directives to EVS
team members. The Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing their team to complete
all goals and missions set forth by EMC and the EVS Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Give direction, supervise and assist the EVS Attendants.
2. Coordinate weekly schedules, including breaks and lunches for EVS Attendants.
3. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the casino, administration building, food
court and break rooms during shift.
4. Assist with interviews, hire and training for the EVS Department.
5. Perform and delegate assigned duties or regularly performed duties during shift.
6. Assist with organization, inventory, and report any needed supplies for ordering
purposes and any equipment needing repairs.
7. Ensure all Company policies and procedures, OSHA standards, federal, state, and local
regulations are followed on assigned shift.
8. Must be able to perform physical job duties of the EVS Attendants.
9. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
10. All other departmental duties as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be highly motivated and self-directed, with a minimum of two (2) years supervisory
housekeeping, or environmental services operations experience. (Resume required)
2. Must possess working knowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
3. Must be on approved driving list, have a valid Driver License and be insurable through
Eagle Mountain Casinos insurance carrier.
4. Understanding of health and safety codes, including knowledge of hazardous materials.
5. Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming
Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
1. While performing the duties of this job the Team Member is required to stand for entire
shift, walk, sit, talk, hear and reach with hands, arms and use hand to finger, handle, or
feel objects, tools or controls.
2. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
4. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
5. Must be able to work in a noisy and smoke-filled environment.
6. Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
7. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
8. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable
accommodation.
REPORTS TO: EVS Manager
SUPERVISES: EVS Attendants
HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
SALARY: $/hour / weekly pay / overtime eligible
