YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)

The EVS Porter will play an important role in performing cleaning duties, as directed by the Environmental Services Supervisor, throughout the property. The EVS Porter will be responsible for maintenance in offices, windows, carpets, restrooms and general maintenance.

• General Maintenance
• Carpet Maintenance
• Office Maintenance
• Vacuums and sweeps
• Window Maintenance
• Remove stains, gum and debris
• Porter pans, vacuums and spot clean carpets
• Vacuum and dusts furniture
• Remove and empty trash from receptacle
• Clean sinks, toilets, urinals and counters to maintain restrooms
• Fill paper and soap dispensers
• Sweeps and mops floors
• Clean counters, tables, chairs and railings
• Empty dirty linen containers
• Clean gaming tables
• Clean all slot machine signage and bases in assigned areas
• Clean walls, ceilings, vents, lights, fixtures, doors and partitions in assigned areas
• Clean and polish all stainless steel, chrome, brass/overhead brass, glass and mirrors in assigned areas
• Operate and maintain all types of cleaning equipment
• Properly executes the 10/5, 1st - last core standard

• Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English
• Familiarity with equipment such as buffing machines, extractors, and wet vac's
• Effectively and efficiently move around work area
• Physically fit and able to lift loads up to 70lbs
• Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal
• Ability to understand and comply with safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required
• A minimum of 2 months on the job training or through related experience

• Work is performed throughout the resort
• Must be tolerant to varying conditions of sound levels, extreme temperatures, illumination, smoke, air quality, and pet hair/dander
• Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees, and guests
• Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility
• Bending and reaching
• Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 100lbs.
• Strong eye/hand coordination
• Use of standard office equipment
• Basic math
• Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
• Ability to comply with policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions
• Occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather conditions. Proper clothing is provided
