The Environmental Services (EVS) Operating Room Supervisor responsible for the successfully operation
of the EVS Surgery Cleaning Team. The EVS Supervisor stays current with EVS best practices and
promotes an engaged workforce. Coordinates daily assignments for shift to ensure all areas of
responsibility are cleaned according to established guidelines. Monitors, and inspects work to ensure all
policies and procedures are followed at all times. Works closely with EVS Leadership Team to improve
quality and/or address concerns in a timely fashion. Outlook, Excel skills, working independently without
direct supervision. Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, good judgment, ability to prioritize workload,
knowledge of internal and external customers, broad knowledge of Department and company policy and
procedures.
Minimum Requirements
High School/GED required
In lieu of education and experience: 1-2 years of Sterile Field Training, 1-2 years of education background, 1-2 years of restorative floor care
experience
Required Experience: 1-2 years of Customer Services and/or 1-2 years of Environmental Services.
