EVS Housekeeping Associate

Location: Bel Air, MD

Pay: $16.70 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every other weekend is required

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable Environmental Housekeepers to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position performs assigned cleaning and disinfecting duties throughout a healthcare facility while following established infection-control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, offices, hallways, and other assigned spaces
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, walls, and high-touch surfaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and properly dispose of general and regulated waste
• Clean and restock restrooms and other assigned areas
• Change linens and prepare rooms as required
• Safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
• Follow infection-control, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Wear required personal protective equipment when completing assigned duties
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs
• Complete additional housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or healthcare cleaning experience is preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to safely lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment
• Must be dependable and able to work every other weekend
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
