Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to be part of a high-energy team? Quechan Paradise Casino is seeking for an Environmental Services (EVS) Floor Crew member to help maintain floors and carpets clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.

QualificationsUnder direct supervision of the EVS Supervisor, cleans and maintains floors/carpets and buildings, and gaming areas, may include other janitorial services as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Scheduled stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing or sealing of different types of hard surfaced floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
•    Scheduled carpet cleaning using approved methods and chemicals.
•    Spot cleaning of carpets as needed.
•    Responsible for securing working area, using appropriate safety barricades, and removing when duties are completed and area is safe for public use.
•    Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations
•    Informs Supervisor of any defects or repairs needed to floors, carpets or equipment.
•    Observes safety rules and maintains a safe environment.
•    Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
•    Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:
Prior carpet and floor cleaning experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California. Tribal preference given to qualified enrolled tribal members

About Quechan Indian Tribe

Located at 350 Picacho Road in Winterhaven, California, the administration building sits atop Indian Hill overlooking Paradise Casino to the East and the construction of the new Fort Yuma Health Care Center to the North.

Here you will find the offices of the President, Vice-President, and the Tribal Council Members. The Tribal Chambers is also located within the building where meetings with the Tribal Council are held.

Also located within the administration building are the offices for the Tribal Administrator, Tribal Council Secretary, Comptroller, Human Resources, Payroll, Revenue Distribution, Finance, our Grants Writer/Coordinator and Records Retention.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. The offices are closed between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch break.
