Good knowledge of stock/storeroom policies and procedures; of property inventory; of basic arithmetic; of modern office terminology, equipment, key-entering and practices; of inventory control and its significance; of computer operations and applications.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office setting and in confined spaces. Manual and finger dexterity required. May be subject to exposure to CRT’s and VDT’s. Travel, late hours and callback work may be required. May be required to lift heavy objects, crawl and climb. May be exposed to cuts, bruises, burns and broken bones. Requires strenuous physical exertion including walking, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing; must be able to lift 51-100 pounds. May be required to stand for long periods of time.
Conditions of Employment:
Selected candidate must submit to and pass a County paid pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening. Additionally, selected candidate must submit to and pass a county paid criminal background screening. Selected candidate must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Class D Driver’s License as incumbent shall be appointed to drive a County vehicle during the performance of his/her duties.
