We are on the lookout for:

Job vacancy: Events Specialist

Your responsibility will be:

• To coordinate the organization of responsible events and partnerships from conception to completion;
• To optimize on events impact and participate through expert recommendations to the development of event production strategies;
• To promote MCB Brand, products and services;
• To strengthen the brand image

In this role you will,

• Coordinate logistics and provide advice to Business Units/Strategic Business Units for commercial actions and events undertaken for seamless occurrence in collaboration with Marketing team;
• Produce proposals for events and take full ownership of their implementation, by taking required decisions and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders such that projects are delivered according set standards;
• Liaise with concerned authorities to ensure that all permits, authorisations and licences are obtained for MCB events;
• Analyse and recommend sponsorship/partnerships requests that enhance MCB’s image and bring maximum return on investment as well as high exposure;
• Keep abreast of responsible events management technique, framework and processes that could be implemented at the Bank for enhancing proficiency as part of the Success Beyond Numbers objectives.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of:

EITHER

• A completed Degree in Communication, Events Management, Marketing, Sports Management, Project Management, or any other related discipline, with demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, event coordination, partnership management, and project delivery;
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field of Public Relations or Event Management or Sponsorships.
  

OR

• A completed diploma in Communication, Events Management, Marketing, Sports Management, Project Management, or any other related discipline, with demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, event coordination, partnership management, and project delivery;
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the field of Public Relations or Event Management or Sponsorships.
  A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
