Job Location Dogs Inc Main Campus - Palmetto, FL 34221
Planning and execution of large, offsite and onsite donor stewardship events and the development, execution, and day-to-day operations of donor experience activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of events and campus activities, including creative planning, development, execution and post-event evaluation
- Manage public campus tours
- Serve as the main communication point for all key stakeholders on events and campus activities
- Research and gather information needed to make informed decision throughout all phases and recommend future improvements
- Stay abreast of best practices and other information beneficial to role and leverage that knowledge to improve donor experiences
- Cultivate and maintain effective external relationships with vendors and other essential partners
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with volunteers and staff members
- Lead, inspire, engage, coach and develop a diverse team of volunteers in delivering exceptional donor stewardship and donor acquisition experiences
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong mission focus
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event planning or meeting planning duties
- Demonstrated experience in guest services skills
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, changing environment, successfully meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate and improve processes to delivers better donor experiences
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict
- Demonstrated strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exemplary project management and communications skills to collaborate with both interna and external partners to develop events and activities that create memorable experiences that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including some weekends
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships
Computer Skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and other event software.
