
SALARY & FLSA: $21.30 - $28.12 per hour; FSLA non-exempt
The $21.30 hourly starting pay is structured to be competitive and may extend up to the $24.71 midpoint of the annual range, reflecting our commitment to offering competitive compensation to qualified candidates.

This role is anticipated to work variable hours, and it is expected to last from June or July 2026 (depending on candidate availability) to mid-January 2027.
June through August this role is anticipated to work 20-30 hours per week. September and October are anticipated to have variable work hours. November through January, this role is anticipated to work 15-20 hours per week.
Experience with weddings or corporate events is a plus!

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, working knowledge of Momentus event management platform is a plus.
Demonstrated customer service skills on the phone or in person with a diverse group of individuals and organizations.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to understand, explain, and enforce policies to on‐site staff, other zoo departments, and the general public in a clear and confident manner.
Ability to work well under pressure, and to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Ability to balance multiple tasks and requests at one time.
Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
Ability to work successfully as a team member as well as independently.
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of customers.
Ability to work a non-standard, flexible schedule, which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Work hours can include early mornings and late evenings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; lift/move heavy objects such as during event setup and teardown, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable often working in an outdoor, public environment where conditions the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud with fluctuating temperatures.
