The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Events Manager to oversee the seamless execution of private and member events at Soho House Amsterdam. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong operational expertise, excellent organisation, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

From intimate private dinners and daytime meetings to large-scale celebrations and post-wedding parties, you’ll lead events from planning through to delivery. You’ll be a reliable and visible presence, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure every detail is perfectly executed.

As part of the Soho House team, your role is to create memorable experiences for our members and guests. With your natural warmth and professionalism, you’ll help deliver events that feel personal, polished, and effortless.

Main responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day events operations in line with company standards
  • Ensure all events are planned, communicated, and delivered on time
  • Lead event execution on the floor, ensuring smooth and high-quality service
  • Collaborate closely with the Groups & Events team for seamless handovers
  • Support other F&B departments when required
  • Manage Private Dining Room events and wider event operations
  • Build and maintain relationships with freelance staff and external partners
  • Maintain strong organisation and oversight across multiple events

What we’re looking for

  • 3–4 years’ experience in a high-quality, service-driven environment
  • Strong background in events and banqueting operations
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for food, beverage, and guest experience
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Fluent English required (Dutch or other languages are a plus)
